Chicken in Oyster Mushroom Sauce

  • Fry the oyster mushrooms in some olive oil or butter. Add the spices, stir and set aside in a separate bowl.
  • Chop the meat into cubes and place in a bowl. Add the spices needed for the meat, mix and let it stand for 5 minutes. Transfer the meat to a frying pan where the mushrooms were previously fried (with heated olive oil) and fry for 15 minutes over medium heat.
  • Add the mushrooms back to the pan with the meat, then add the canned peas. Fry for another 5 minutes, then add the warm milk mixed with a tablespoon of wholemeal flour. Stir and simmer for 10 minutes on low heat.
  • Serve with potatoes or rice.
