Filipino Monggo Stew

Yields: 4 Servings Difficulty: Easy Prep Time: 5 Mins Cook Time: 30 Mins Total Time: 35 Mins

Ginisang munggo is a Filipino spicy mung bean soup. It is made with mung beans, garlic, tomatoes, and spices and it is incredibly healthy and tasty. Since I didn’t have Asian mung beans, I made it with red lentils and as a person who is not-a-huge-lentils-fan, I can say that this is the best thing that I have ever tasted in my entire life! I still cannot believe that it was made in my own kitchen! You can find all of the spices in your store nearby, so don’t miss this incredible taste that you can get in only 30 minutes!
