Cilbir or Turkish eggs is a very simple, tasty and nutritious breakfast recipe. This recipe resembles the classic egg preparation but accompanied with some heavenly Turkish twist containing garlicky yogurt and buttery chilli. Got your attention? Take a look.
- Mix the Greek yogurt or the sour cream with the garlic powder. Add a bit of dill. Spread the mix over a plate. You can place a piece of prosciutto too over the yogurt, but only if you want to, iy is your optional choice.
- Take two eggs and fry them in a pan with a bit of salt. Place them over the spread of yogurt (or over the prosciutto).
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan, add the chilli powder and the paprika powder, then pour the mixture over the cooked eggs. Decorate with the rest of the dill.
