The tahini sauce is consisted from few simple ingredients – tahini being the star of this recipe. Tahini is a rich, creamy paste made from ground sesames, you can find it in every market. Tahini is fairly low in calories but high in fiber, protein, and several important vitamins and minerals. It pairs amazingly with fresh lemon and garlic, and you can use it both for sweet and for savory dishes. A bit of veggies, salt and pepper rounds out the flavors.
