Homemade Almond Milk
Learn how to make almond milk at home! Homemade almond milk is healthier than many store-bought options (no gums, chemicals or nasty ingredients) and all you need are almonds, water, some natural sweetener (if you like it a bit sweet), and a blender. That’s it!

Ingredients
-
1
cup of raw almonds
(soaked overnight)
-
4
cup
of cold water
(plus more for the previous soaking)
-
1
tsp
vanilla extract
(optional)
-
1
tbsp
honey
(optional)
Instructions
-
After the almonds have soaked in water overnight, drain and rinse them. Throw the water away.
-
Place the almonds in your blender along with four cups of fresh, cold water and any optional add-ins.
-
Blend on high for 2 minutes.
-
Strain the almond milk through a nut-milk bag or a few layers of cheesecloth into a bowl or large measuring cup (this is an optional, additional rinsing measure. The milk is perfect without this step too).
Pour the almond milk into an air-tight storage container and place in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
