Total Time: 35 mins
Ingredients
    For the dough
  • 2 cups of flour (I used wholemeal flour)
  • 3/4 cup of plant milk
  • 1/4 cup of peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup of honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • For the filling
  • 3 small apples
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp corn starch
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • For the caramel
  • 4 tbsp peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
Instructions
  1. Mix the peanut butter, honey, and milk well. Add the baking powder, mix again and then slowly add the flour. Stir well until combined.
  2. Take a baking pan, put some baking paper and pour half of the dough in it. Flatten it well with moist hands. Make some fork marks in the flattened dough.
  3. Chop the apples thinly into small pieces, add the corn starch, cinnamon, and honey and stir well. Pour the apple mixture over the dough.
  4. Moist your hands again, take the rest of the dough and spread it over the apple mixture. Bake for 25 minutes over 175 degrees.
  5. Make a caramel mixture by whisking peanut butter and honey. Spread it all over the pie and let it cool down. Make a Christmas tree shape with a piece of paper, place it over the caramel layer, sprinkle with coconut flour and then remove the paper. Enjoy your sweet Christmas!
