Spicy Mozzarella Chicken Rolls
A wonderful aromatic flavor explosion with a slight spicy edge rolled into crispy and golden meal, these Spicy Mozzarella Chicken Rolls are something that you will adore. They fit perfectly with any side dish, no mater it is roasted vegetables, some potato (dry potato or potato wedges), or rice.

Instructions

Chop the meat into long fillets (I buy fresh chicken steak and cut it into fillets) and season each fillet with vegetable spice (salt) and black pepper.

Pick one side of each fillet, put a piece of mozzarella and wrap it in a roll. Join the meat in a mini roll with the help of a toothpick and sprinkle the rolls with dried basil and chilli.

Bake in a pan for 15 minutes at 190 degrees.

Meanwhile, for the topping sauce, combine the listed ingredients in a separate bowl, stirring constantly to obtain a homogeneous mixture. Pour over the meat rolls with the topping and bake for another 15-20 minutes.

10 minutes before the meat was done, I put some partially cooked carrots and peas in the pan and I've got a very tasty combination. You can do the same or serve with some kind of potato or rice (look at the web site for an idea for a side dish).
