Healthy Dalgona Coffee

Dalgona Coffee is a current internet hit. It looks delicious even though is quite simple to make, and everyone around the world is making it! It is actually a beverage made by whipping equal proportions of instant coffee powder, sugar, and hot water until it becomes creamy and then adding it to cold or hot milk. I received many requests from you to try and make a healthy Dalgona Coffee, so check it out!
Servings: 1 yield(s)
Prep Time: 5 mins
Cook Time: 10 mins
Total Time: 15 mins
Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp instant coffee or Nescafe
  • 1 or 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp hot water
  • 1/2 cup of plant-based milk (I use rice milk)
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
Instructions
  1. Put coffee, brown sugar and hot water in a mixing bowl and mix with a mixer until you get a firm foam.
  2. Pour the milk into a glass (I use rice milk powder, I dissolve it in cold water and combine it in a blender to get a homogeneous liquid without lumps and thus, beautifully-tasting milk) and put the ice cubes in the milk.
  3. Spoon the foam into the coffee, slowly so that the layers of milk and coffee do not come together.
  4. Melt a little peanut butter in the microwave and pour it over the foam. I will leave the ideas for an additional decoration to your imagination. Cheers!
