Healthy & Crispy Chicken Nuggets

These healthy baked chicken nuggets are coated in crushed cornflakes instead of flour and breading and they are baked instead of fried. In fact, there is NO OIL at all! And you only need a few ingredients to make them perfect, alongside with 3 healthy sauces (I am sharing their recipe, too), and you have the perfect snack for you and your family! Take a look!

Total Time: 45 mins
Ingredients
  • 600 g chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp chilli
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp red paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 bowl of crushed cornflakes (crushed in a food processor)
  • 1 bowl of plant milk (I use rice milk)
  • Red sauce
  • 5 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/2 tsp chili
  • White sauce
  • 5 tbsp sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Mustard-honey sauce
  • 3 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame seed
Instructions
  1. Chop the chicken into large cubes and place in a bowl. Sprinkle with the above spices, mix and leave for 5 minutes.
  2. Place baking paper on a large baking sheet and arrange the pieces of meat previously soaked in the milk, then in the broken cornflakes (I process half of the required amount of cornflakes in a blender and the other half in a blender, but only with one short pulsing. Then mix them together in the same bowl).
  3. Bake for 30 minutes at 200 degrees. Flip the nuggets at least once during baking.
  4. The sauces are made by mixing the listed ingredients for each sauce.
  5. Serve as a lunch or as a snack with some good movie.
