Take a mental vacation to Hawaii as you enjoy this grilled chicken marinated in a mixture of pineapple and some other sweet and spicy ingredients. Taste some exotic delicacy right away!
Chop the chicken into cubes and season with salt, soy sauce, red pepper and a little bit of oil. Let it stand for 5 minutes in that marinade.
Fry the chopped onion, scallion and pepper in a little oil, then add the chicken and simmer until soft and firm (15 minutes).
Add the chopped pineapple and a little corn starch mixed with a bit of pineapple liquid. I recommend using fresh pineapple because it is a healthier version, but it is also made with canned pineapple.
Add chili, honey and hops and simmer for another 10 minutes on low heat. Serve it with rice or potatoes as a side dish.
